PhD candidate, EECS @ UC Merced — sensing, embedded systems, edge ML
I'm a 5th year PhD candidate in EECS at UC Merced, researching magnetic-induction sensing for monitoring AI inference in safety-critical systems. My work sits at the intersection of embedded sensing and machine learning — building hardware-software systems that can observe what a device is actually doing, not just what it reports. Outside the lab, I build and ship applied software, most recently an Android app for workout tracking.
